Merbau is a rich, highly durable hardwood widely renowned for its coarse but even texture and reddish-brown colour that darkens over time. It is one of the most commonly used decking and outdoor timbers for high-end residential and commercial projects in Australia.

Merbau decking can require more regular maintenance to keep it in good condition, including cleaning, sanding, and sealing. It is also important to use stainless steel screws or nails to prevent rust stains from developing.
