• Superior Durability: Iron Gum is classified as Class 1  for both above- and in-ground applications, the highest possible rating, ensuring a service life of 25 years or more.
• High Density and Strength: The timber is extremely dense, contributing to its incredible strength and ability to withstand heavy foot traffic and harsh environmental conditions.
• Natural Resistance: Its heartwood has natural oils that provide excellent resistance to insect infestations (including termites) and decay, reducing the need for chemical treatments.
• Fire Resistance: The product is suitable for use in bushfire-prone areas and can achieve a Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) of up to BAL-29 or BAL-40 certification, depending on the specific product and installation.
